Brief

Create a female empowerment concept to platform survivors of gender based violence for Black History Month

Creative Process

With a focus on colourful local African textile prints as self-expression of survivors of gender-based violence, to showcase stories of hope in an engaging way to a wider audience : using metaverse and game environments. Creating an opportunity for under served female social entrepreneurs in the global south to access and generated income from traditionally inaccessible industries - eg sell digital wearable assets or NFTs, as well as addressing the imbalance of game environments through diverse representations and authentically preserving local African culture in the metaverse addressing issues of creative appropriation or exploitation.
