Brief

BB Studio worked with long-term partners, King's Road London, to present a digital mannequin to highlight the many different individual expressions for which the King's Road has become world famous. Xpollination stood in the windows of fashion boutique Leggera Nell'Aria looking out on the world, reflecting on our fascination with culture and the passing visual scenary. Interactive flowers morphed out of cultural moments, generated by punks, mods, and sloanes to share in the eclectic mood. This was part of Chelsea Fringe during the Chelsea Flower Show.

Creative Process

With Sarah Ferrugia & Co, BB Studio came up with a concept to showcase the individiality and creativity on the King's Road both from its shoppers and retailers. With a rich history of iconic fashion movements including Punk, Sloane, Mod, the King's Road holds a unique street landscape from luxury designers, to boutiques and charity shops amongst its increasingly homogenised high street. The campaign was in two parts. The first part was to create digitised hand pained flowers into fashion styles projected onto a couture-style petal dress. The second part was a twitter campaign where a unique flower was created per tweet.
